A testament to the unmatched capabilities of the National Security Guard (NSG), a specialist and formidable special force entrusted with the role of combating terrorism across the country as a Federal Contingency Force. Renowned as a world-class “Zero Error Force,” the NSG is celebrated for its rigorous training and operational excellence.

Recognizing the need for an advanced training infrastructure, the NSG made a decisive move to establish a state-of-the-art Composite Indoor Shooting Range at the NSG Training Centre in Manesar. AIMTREX, as the chosen execution partner, undertook the prestigious project. On April 2, 2021, the facility was commissioned and inaugurated in the presence of Shri Ajay Kumar Bhalla, IAS, Union Home Secretary, Government of India, alongside other distinguished officials.

Key Features of the NSG CISR project:

  • Upgradation of existing Civil Infrastructure: ensuring a suitable modern training environment.
  • Precision Electronic Target Systems and Reflex Target Systems: offering advanced marksmanship training and competitive shooting capabilities. These systems can sustain up to 50,000 bullet hits without requiring any repairs.
  • Automated Firing Butt: featuring an automated Steel Bullet Trap equipped with a Bullet Collection Chamber and a Vacuum-based Dust Collection Unit.
  • Ballistic Glass Firing Booths: consisting of ten booths constructed with Bullet Resistant Materials for enhanced safety and optimal shooting experiences.
  • NIOSH rated Range Ventilation System with Master Control: providing a suitable ventilation system to maintain a cool and fresh atmosphere throughout the range.
  • Acoustic and Ballistic Treatment of Walls, Ceilings, and Floors: ensuring non-ricochet proofing and preventing accidental fire hits or ricochets with specialized side wall, ceiling, and floor protection measures.
  • Lighting System: incorporating a smart lighting setup that accurately simulates day and night conditions. The control room allows for variable control of lights from 5 – 1000 Lux.
  • Control Room: equipped with a master computer for shot analysis, master control for the target system, ventilation system, communication system, and more—serving as the central hub for efficient operations.
